Agastya Muni

off white.png

In an effort to bring Agastya Muni's legend to life through documentary, we have been following the footprints of Agastya Muni across ancient lands for the last four years. We have traced his influence through Cambodia, Indonesia (across multiple research and filming visits), Malaysia, Kashi, different parts of Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

This work began during the making of the documentary on Sadhguru Shri Brahma when we discovered that Agastya Muni is the earliest Guru in his lineage. This has been a silent and devoted effort, gathering insights, visuals, and oral histories that reveal the profound legacy of the great Maharishi Agastya Muni, a figure revered not only in India but across Southeast Asia.

We don't even realize that what we take pride and enjoy as Bharatiya culture, tradition and spirituality has its origin from Agastya Muni. This is a humble acknowledgement for his immense work across the land of Bharat and beyond.

As we began assimilating this vast body of knowledge, we realized that the story’s scope extends far beyond what a single film could contain.

Hence, the project will now unfold in two seasons, with eight episodes per season, each 30 minutes long.
